Undergraduates
Resident Applications
You can apply to Emmanuel before you receive your university offer. If we are your first choice, we encourage you to lodge your application in our first offer round to give yourself the best chance of securing a place for 2026. The earlier you start the application process, the better.
With this in mind, it’s also important to understand that applying early doesn’t guarantee you a place at Emmanuel College. Our admissions team weighs up the many qualities and perspectives that future students could bring to our community.
Our goal is to achieve a diverse cohort of students that reflects society in general: a community of different genders, cultures and home geographies, educational and socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual identities, ethnicities and races, extracurricular abilities and more.

We are at capacity and have no vacancies for semester 2, 2025.
Mid-Year Entry for Semester 2 2026
Applications open: 15 March 2026
Applications close: 30 May 2026
Interviews for successful applicants: throughout Semester 1
Offers by: early July 2026
2027 Applications
We expect to have two application rounds for residency in 2027. To begin your application, please follow steps 1 and 2 of the process (see infographic below). If you progress to the next stage of the application process, you will receive further advice by email, including details about the application fee (AUD $225), interview process and other required documents, such as a referee report and your academic record.
