For those students unable to return to College for lunch due to lecture commitments, packed lunches can be made in the morning. Formal dinners are held on a regular basis often with an invited guest speaker of interest to students.
A number of special event dinners, to which students are invited, are held throughout the year including Convocation and Valedictory dinners, Bannockburn Community Awards, Cultural Awards and Sports Awards dinners.
Cleaning and Laundry
Emmanuel College is one of the few colleges in Australia to provide a weekly laundry service for students. A named laundry bag is provided to each student on arrival and a specific laundry day is allocated for each wing. Washing is returned to students clean, dry and folded.
All student rooms are cleaned once a week by College staff, who keep a friendly and caring eye on students.
