Fundraising

Emmanuel College’s history, traditions and values are so important to the generations of young people living here while they study at university, away from their families and their support networks. Philanthropic support makes an enormous impact on our students’ lives and future prospects.

Our past and our future are strongly linked to our alumni and the contributions they have made and will continue to make to local, national and international communities. Many alumni have reached a stage in their lives where they are looking for ways to give back to the community and the College that supported them through the ups and downs of their student experience, and gave them a taste of independent life in an adult community.

As a not-for-profit, Emmanuel’s investment in the College and our students is absolute. We work with our supporters to raise funds in program areas such as scholarships and bursaries, academic support, sporting equipment and building projects. Our Advancement Office coordinates alumni relations, annual giving, fundraising, major gifts and bequests. Alumni support for these programs is warmly welcomed.

Emmanuel College is registered as a charitable institution and endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR). For donations greater than $2, you will receive a receipt for your taxation records. All donations are channelled into the program area specified by the donor; no gifts are used for College administration expenses.

By making a donation, you can help our students and your College. To donate, please use our secure online facility or choose your preferred way of giving.

Please contact the College’s Advancement and Communications Manager Michelle James, (07) 3871 9342 or m.james@emmanuel.uq.edu.au, with questions or for assistance.

Thank you for your generosity, kindness and support.
