HOW TO APPLY FOR RESIDENCE AT EMMANUEL COLLEGE

Applying to Emmanuel College is a very easy process involving a few simple steps.

Step 1.

Download the application package from our website [menu to left].

   
Step 2. Complete and submit the online application [link below].
   
Step 3. Fill in the fee payment options form and return directly to Emmanuel College along with your non-refundable $55 application fee and one passport sized photograph.
   
Step 4. Letter to the Principal - Please write a page (approx. 500 words) detailing why you would be a suitable resident at Emmanuel College. Please forward the completed letter directly to The Admissions Officer.
   
Step 5. Send a referee form to each of your two referees and ask them to forward the completed forms directly to our office. Tick items off your checklist as they are done.
   
Step 6. When the College has the completed application along with the application fee, passport photo, fee payment options form and the two completed referee forms we will arrange an interview for you with a senior staff member.

Please contact the Admissions Officer at the College who will arrange an interview time for you.
   
Step 7.

Offers will be made following the allocation of University of Queensland places.

Please note the following:
Only completed applications as outlined above will be considered for a place in Emmanuel College. Submission of a completed application form and application fee does not guarantee a place in College.

Emmanuel College only offers accommodation to students studying at The University of Queensland. It is a residential College and does not itself offer degree courses, programmes or units for study.

All applications will be acknowledged by email. If you have difficulty accessing the application form and document package from our website, please contact our Admissions Officer who will forward copies to you.

Applications to more than one college will void all applications.
